Resource and Lobby group for Irish Musicians
The Musicians Institute of Ireland is a new organisation set up by Musicians for Musicians.

That is our core mesage. With over 1,700 members already signed up to The Musicians Institute of Ireland, we are here to provide support to musicians and a voice when dealing with many venues and promotors throughout the Island of Ireland. By joining the Institute, musicians have a real voice and a lobby group to impact on individuals or venue owners that feel they can take advantage, together we can recognise these venues, apply pressure and ensure a fair deal for all parties involved. By standing together we ensure the collective voice to say enough is enough. It is our mission to ensure musicians are treated equally and fairly that's all we ask for, nothing more and nothing less.
Other advantages of joining include offering independant musicians and music bands advice and networking opportunities within the Irish music sector.
Musicians Institute Ireland is here to provide information on :
a. Unbiased advice and support when dealing with the Industry at large
b. Musical education, advice, song writing, lessons, resources etc.
c. Legal advice
d. Resources to live venues, promoters (Covers & Original acts), managers and record AR contacts etc
e. Monthly networking conference with top speakers and an excellent resource for networking
f. Reduced offers on musical instruments, rehearsal studios, recording studios, sound hire etc
We provide two levels of membership : Individuals or Corporate membership for Sponsors
a. MMII Member - if you are a musician and would like to join you will receive a MMII Card which is represented in many venues throughout Ireland and will provide discounts on many industry-related suppliers.
b. Corporate membership: Available to companies that service the music industry, such as sound hire, instrument sales shops, rehearsal studios, recording studios, music teachers, etc. It provides the opportunity to support our members and provide a valuable service. Also to sponsor and attend our conferences free of charge throughout the year.
